An Up North Fourth is full of activities! The main feature being the all of the beer, food and live music. The Norman Rockwell backdrop of Northern Michigan combined with great weather and an amazing array of activities makes the 4th of July a special day in Northern Michigan. The event will take place Saturday, July 2nd in Downtown Charlevoix East Park. The festivities kick off at 4PM. For more information click here.
Mackinaw City Scheduled events from 1:30-3pm include games on the Marina Lawn, strawberry social 1-5pm, music throughout the day at Mackinaw Crossing 9pm to dusk the Straits Area Concert Band performs, and at dusk, one of the largest fireworks display in Northern Michigan. Mackinac Island Visit Fort Mackinac for the 38 Gun Salute, Soldier demonstrations, dancing, cannon firing and more from one of the only two remaining all original Revolutionary War Forts in America. Then feast at the All American Picnic at Fort Mackinac catered by Grand Hotel. Mackinac Island’s Fire Department is the host to the Fun & Games at Windermere Point. For more information click here.
