Cold Weather Camping Tips It’s hard to think about cold weather when we’ve had such warm temperatures this fall. But, the temperatures will drop eventually and we want you to be prepared for camping in cold weather conditions. Here are a few tips on how to stay warm this winter. Are you ready for the Minnesota State Fair? This year, the Minnesota state fair is bigger and better than ever. With hundreds of new attractions, competitions, shows and exhibits, there is plenty to see and do during this ten day event. Join us as we take a look at the action. The Minnesota State fair will run August 25th to September 4th. This year’s theme is celebrating the life and legacy of “Prince”. Gooseberry Falls State Park Also known as “The Gateway to the North Shore”, Gooseberry Falls State Park is one of Minnesota’s top visited state parks and there is no question as to why.  Hugging the shoreline of Lake Superior, Gooseberry Falls is known for its spectacular views, entrancing waterfalls, and old log and stone structures from the Civilian Conservation Corp.    Filled with forests of evergreen, aspen and birch trees, the hiking trails offer a wonderful view of nature and the surrounding wildlife.
